Smart Checklist is tightly integrated with monday.com automations. You can create new automation rules or recipes to better fit Smart Checklist into the specific workflows your teams are using. 

Here are several examples of automations with Smart Checklist:

• Set the Status of an item to Done once the checklist is completed.
• Move an item to a certain Group once a checklist is completed.
• Clear the checklist once the Status of an item is changed to Done.
• Append a checklist once the Status of an item changes to Done. 

As you may have noticed, the examples of automations are for items only. This is because automations for sub-items are not yet supported. 

Also, please note that automations will only work for new events that are triggered after the custom automation’s creation.
