Create a template

Follow these steps if you are looking to create a checklist template for a recurring task:

  1. Open a monday item or subitem.
  2. Open the Smart Checklist view.
  3. Click on the 3-dots menu.
  4. Select either the “Manage templates” or “Import from a template” option.

  5. Click on the “New template” button in the Manage templates pop-up.

  6. Enter the name for your template and type in or copy-paste your checklist items. Please remember to use this formatting guide
  7. Click “Save”.

  8. You are all done after you see the confirmation pop-up “Template has been created successfully” 🚀.

📒 Note: Created templates are saved and available globally across all boards.
